Just curious if DOB Inspectors bought off by Bill Lika as I see all kinds of bold face illegal construction over the weekend but the good news is the illegal construction at least was safe with the workers blocking off side walk access so no one could get hurt or killed which is more than I can say re: Bill Lika’s construction. You can see photos of Bill Lika’s construction worker removing scaffolding as 2 men and a dog walk underneath photo on this blog.
If you go back far enough on this blog you can learn about Bill Lika infamous for anonymous retaliation for the many people who are disgusted with this slum lord developer so is that Bill that makes all those annoymous comments attempting to defend him or salacious violating comments and is that Bill Lika that got a DOB inspector to make a special Saturday retaliatory visit on behalf of Bill Lika?

Lucky Hurricane Irene did not hit with her full force or there would have been death and destruction because Bill Lika did not secure items from the roof top to the back yard and open floor areas.

There is the alleged sexual harassment of women of course including one renter who complained that Bill Lika would show up at her apt. uninvited, unannounced with his friends. and then there is the infamous annoymous Bill Lika comment -- for some reason a different woman thought Bill Lika made a very rude retaliatory comment and the focus on her sexual activity -- well she handed it over to the 94th Precinct and the Brooklyn DA. The good news is that Bill Lika has stopped harassing her for now like an evening visit leaning over on to her property asking to talk to her when she had made it clear she wants no contact.
Lika has been lucky DOB blind, death and dumb for the most part but how is he going to water proof the building on both sides besides he built too close but not flush due to new earth quake codes and there does not see a way to water proof as well as many on the unwaterproofed cinder block are cracking.
The Berry side of 114 North 7th Wall is all broken and major cracks.
Bill Lika was denied Single Room Occupancy... Can you believe Bill Lika applied for Single Room Occupancy? Well this late in the game did he get special permission from Dept. of Building to build extra walls to make more rooms for a building he has yet to water proof and again the other question remains can he water proof or did some DOB Inspector throw out repeated concerns re: this important issue to help out his good friend Bill Lika or what?

| My apartment was flooding for months and he did nothing to fix it. Mold then also began to grow and he "fixed" it a few times, but it just kept coming back. He was also never available and would never answer the phone, but only respond to texts (and usually it would be 12 hours after it was sent...which wasn't very helpful when my apartment was flooding). He is a slumlord. | ||||||||||
